Little Girl In Her Enchanted Forest Dress

Portrait of a little girl in her very special dress. Painted from a much loved, but not very high quality photo. This is my answer to Renoir's Little Girl with a Watering Can.

My daughter was always so patient when I dragged her along to the fabric store to look at patterns for hours. I told her I would make her any dress she wanted. This is the dress she imagined, and I sewed for her in around 1987.
