Thank You for Being Purple

I called it "Thank You for Being Purple" because of the lone purple flower in the lower right. This is the view from Dennis Lansing's memorial bench at Battle Creek Nordic Trail Park, the Bench near Upper Afton road. I do not know Dennis, but it is one of several memorial benches in the park. So nice to sit on the bench and look down on the rolling hills of tall grasses. It rained a bit while I was painting. So it goes the in great outdoors. The paved path curves around to the left. There are patches of a tall plant with yellow flowers. It took about 4 hours for this painting.
